According to their own website:http://www.junobeachpier.net/ , this is Southeast Florida's most popular fishing pier. The kinds of fish that can be caught here include: barracuda, bluefish, bluerunners, bonito, cobia, croakers, kingfish, ladyfish, mackerel, moonfish, pompano, permit, sharks, snook and whiting.
The views from this pier are nice and it is a fun walk out to the end and back. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed past the gate on the pier. There is a sign at the intersection of the pier and sidewalk that says "no dogs", but the guy taking the admission fees said that nobody pays attention to that sign. This being the case, Dawg walked down to meet the money collector and he gave her a giant dog bone! Dawg LOVES this pier!
There is a geocache near to, and named after this pier: (
