The Peace Light Monument is located in the Gettysburg National Military Park, just off Mummasburg Road at Oak Hill, at Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania.

The Peace Light Memorial was dedicated on July 3, 1938 by Northern and Southern Veterans of the Battle of Gettysburg. Contributions were received from Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, New York, and Indiana.
Franklin Roosevelt dedicated the monument. The gas-fed eternal flame was ignited by a Union and Confederate Veteran's.
Due to the energy crises in the early 1970's, the flame of peace was extinguished and replaced by a soduim vapor light in 1978.
The architect was Paul P. Cret, Sculptor was Lee Lawrie, was built of Alabama Limestone and Crab Orchard Flagstone at a cost of about $50,000.
