This is the main studio for the CAPPS Broadcast Group, which operates 4 radio stations: KUMA-AM, KUMA-FM, KWHT-FM and KTIX-AM. It is located on the west end of the Eastern Oregon Regional Airport. They primarily play pop/soft rock music via a satellite feed with local news and commercials spliced in between to make it sound "local". The main transmitter for KUMA-FM is located on Cabbage Hill, which is southeast of Pendleton, Oregon, about 12 miles southeast of the studio. They cover the Columbia Basin of Oregon and Washington.
