VIA Rail has ten passenger trains in each direction crossing this short bridge everyday. Photographing rail traffic should be relatively easy. The bridge is only 900 metres from Fallowfield Station (Mile 3.57 Smiths Falls subdivision).

Mile post 3.00 is on the bridge. The bridge carries the railroad over Black Rapids Creek. This land was once identified as lot 22, concession 1, Nepean township.

The Rideau Valley Conservation Authority is developing wetlands here. The bridge can be viewed only from the southeast side, between the Greenbelt pathway and the railroad.
