Teil der mittelalterlichen Stadtbefestigung. Erbaut Anfang des 14. Jahrhunderts. Anschliessende Stadtmauer im 16. Jahrhundert erhöht. Wurde als Stadtgefängnis auch "Kronenburg" genannt. Hier fand das Vogelschiessen der Schützengesellschaft statt."

Part of the medieval city fortifications. Built at the beginning of the 14th century. The town wall was raised in the 16th century. Was also called "Kronenburg" as a town prison. The shooting of birds by the marksmen's society took place here."
