Former Farmers Combine Warehouse has been removed from the Protected Building Register and will enable local billionaire businessman Trevor Hemmings to press on with his plans for a multi-million pound office development on the site.

A derelict building in Ramsey has been taken off the protected building register.
The towns commissioners confirmed an application to take the former Farmers Combine Warehouse on West Quay off the list has been approved, with the decision subject to a 21-day appeal period.
In the decesion, officials concluded the structure didn't reach a high emough bar to be considered of historical or architectual interest.
The complex was placed on the register back in February[2019] which sparked a petition signed by aroundd six hundred residents who claimed doing so was a barrier to redevelopment in the area."
