This oversized Little Free Library is one of the biggest book exchanges I've come across in the San Antonio, TX area. The bottom half has shelf divining the cabinet space into two rows of books. The bottom shelf are easy readers for younger folks. The top shelf is a mix of story books and various topics for more experienced young readers. Above the double-door bottom part of this unit is a pull-out drawer with "Grown Up Books" written above the pull handle, intended for advanced readers. The unit is well stocked with all shelves and the drawer filled with a variety of reading material. The outside is painted with brightly colored yellow with red and blue trimmings. Hand painted art works on the front and side give the little library an inviting and festive appearance.
The concept of the Little Free Library is for anyone who stops by to feel free to take a book from the little library offerings to read. If you plan ahead, please bring a book you have already read and are willing to pass on to others by placing it into the library unit as a choice to others who come by. The expression is "Take a Book: Return a Book." If you take a book, try to pass it on or pass on another book instead. You can exchange the book at any other little library. Enjoy your reading and pass it on to others to enjoy.
There is no geocache at this Little Free Library.
