All owned and operated by the family of Brandon Bunn, the Snooty Pig Cafe was established in 2000 and named for a pub that Brandon's stepmother had seen in Ireland. This was the fourth location to open, after Grapevine, Fort Worth (near Alliance Airport), and Argyle.

Everything on the menu is served all day, so you can have breakfast or lunch "whenever." Breakfast fare is what you'd expect -- egg dishes, pancakes, waffles, benedicts, omelettes, and breakfast sandwiches -- including a few Tex-Mex favorites like huevos rancheros and Huevos de Fred, a knock-off of the papas dishes that the late, great Weck's in Lewisville served when they were here. There are also some vegetarian and other "healthy choice" options.

For lunch, check your table or the board up front for any daily specials, and including the healthy options, you can pick from a great variety of sandwiches, burgers, and salads. They have a small kids menu with both breakfast and lunch items, and beverages include juice, soft drinks, coffee, tea, milk, hot chocolate, and bottled water. Their menus do vary a little bit by location, but for a general idea, check out their website.

There's a decent amount of seating, including a spacious bar (but they don't serve alcohol), but be aware that the parking lot can fill up -- that's you're cue -- during busy hours, especially on Sunday, and you should expect a wait. Service is typically very good, but beware of the occasional young adult who thinks that their friends and phone are more important than their job.
