As described by the NGS in 1973 (although already monumented by the CGS back in 1959):
"[...] ABOUT 1.4 MILES SOUTH ALONG THE MISSOURI-PACIFIC RAILROAD FROM THE STATION AT CONROE [...] 33.7 FEET EAST OF THE EAST RAIL, 26 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF A GRAVEL ROAD PARALLEL TO THE TRACKS ON THE EAST SIDE, 5.2 FEET NORTH OF A POWER POLE, 1.1 FEET SOUTH OF A METAL WITNESS POST, AND ABOUT 1 FOOT BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE RAIL, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST FLUSH WITH THE GROUND.."
Save for the metal witness post (it's now just a wooden survey stake), the NGS description is still pretty accurate -- and so are the distance estimates. The station is located just south of Foster Road, at its T-intersection with S Frazier Street. Given its concrete post, it's hard to miss once in the general area.
The NGS' currently posted coordinates ("N 30 17 21.67520 W 095 27 20.93404") seemed quite accurate as well: my measurements were "N 30° 17.358 W 95° 27.349" based on 10+ readings within 10' accuracy.
The station was recovered in good condition.
