Interesting particulars regarding the South Brisbane Railway Station as it will appear on the completion of the Kyogle line were given in evidence in the Land Appeal Court yesterday during the hearing of a compansation claim on account of the resumption for street widening purposes of property known as Pike's Building, in Melbourne street. During the course of his evidence Mr J W G
Derbyshire officer in charge of resumptions, Railway Department, stated it was proposed to extend the concrete wall to Merivale street and to build that portion up to the present level of the station. The main entrance to the station would face Merivale street, while it was proposed that traffic should enter the station by way of a 42ft oneway traffic roadway from Melbourne street, thence out to Russell street.
