Spoede
1933-2013


"Mr. Ralph Henry Spoede, age 79 of Warrenton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013, with his wife and children by his side.

"Ralph was born June 15, 1933, to Henry and Ruth (née: Nelson) Spoede in Warren County, MO. He was the oldest of four children. Married on June 9th, 1956, Ralph enjoyed 57 years of marriage with his wife, Marjorie (née Schmidt). They had four children, Mike (Sharon), Eric ( Marilyn), Kathy (Tim Wolfe) and Karen (Paul Casserly). They also have the love of 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

"Ralph joined the Navy following high school, after which he worked at McDonnell Douglas, retiring with 40 years of service. He loved airplanes, hunting, spending time at the cabin and taking rides around the countryside. Ralph was a member of the Warrenton Masonic Lodge 609, Grace Chapter 323 Order of Eastern Star, Warrenton VFW lodge and member of Schuetzen Ground.

"He was also a life long member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Warrenton.

"Ralph is survived by his wife and family including his youngest sister, Marlene Bayer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Arlene Hoffman and his brother John Spoede.

"Visitation for Ralph H Spoede will be held on Thursday June 13, 2013, 4:00 pm -8:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E Main, Warrenton, Mo 63383. Funeral services will be Friday June 14, 2013 at Frieden's United Church of Christ at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Warrenton City Cemetery." ~ Martin Funeral Home
