In Memory of
Walter & Bobbie Brasher


"Bobbie Brasher, nee Platt, 86, Warrenton, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018, at her home.

"Bobbie was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Petrolia, Texas, the daughter of Tom A. Platt and wife Alva. She and her husband, Walter, spent most of their time together, whether it was work or just being together. Bobbie loved to cook for the family and enjoyed fishing, crafting, decorating for Christmas and being outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with family. Bobbie will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

"She is survived by her daughter, Terri (Woody) Thorn, Warrenton; son, Alan (Connie) Brasher, Wichita Falls, Texas; sister, Eddie Choate; three grandchildren, Woody Thorn, Brett Brasher and Brian Brasher; and five great-grandchildren, Logan, Cass, Kenzi, Addison and Wyatt.

"Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Brasher; father, Tom A. Platt; mother, Alva Platt; two sisters, Sissy Platt and Vida Adams; and brother, Tommy Platt.

"A graveside service was scheduled to be held Thursday, July 5, at 9:30 a.m. at Warrenton City Cemetery, Warrenton.

"Memorials to the American Cancer Society, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.

"The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton." ~ The Missourian on July 5, 2018
