The City of Chambly decided to give a second life to this street furniture by asking the Public Works Department to turn it into a book box, a concept that has proven itself since it is present throughout the world.
"This initiative is part of an environmental perspective. It maximizes the use of a book, while offering a new mission to the phone booth. In addition, it encourages citizens of all generations to read, " (Mayor of city of Chambly)
