This WM was discovered by mistake. Team Yakara had planned to WM the Dutch Benchmark at the nearby Effeld Church. Cycling along the Rur river we drove to the wrong village, and did not checked the GPS . So we pictured the church and the Benchmarks. After comming home we noticed this mistake. This is our first German Benchmark.
The waymark is situated at the backside of the church which is also a German Historical Marker.
There is also an AP mark at the backdoor.

The entrance at the back of the churchyard. The bolt is located in the central left buttress, opprox 30 cm from the ground level.
