Lawnview Cemetery is located 1.5 miles east of Cordell on 14th Street. Coordinates for the cemetery entrance are: N35 18.340 W98 57.944.

There are many varieties of homemade headstones, some of hand poured concrete, with marbles or hand marking of the inscription. This headstone caught our eye immediately due to its uniqueness. The headstone is not a stone at all. It is a frame made out of iron rebar. Two vertical bars have three cross bars with this inscription welded in metal rods:

Nora Elizabeth Witt Holland was married with one son. Her husband Howard did not pass away for 40 years, and her son 77 years after she died.
