Barbara Selkirk
Barbara "Barb" Selkirk was a dedicated City of Ottawa employee at the McNabb Arena and Recreation Centre from 1998 to 2014.
A resident of the Centretown community and member of the former McNabb Recreation Organization, Barb was a strong advocate for inclusivity and accessibility.
Barb's strength and passion in serving the community she loved was evident through her smile and positive character. She treated everyone with respect and was an inspiration to those around her.
This plaque will remind staff and community members who enter the Centre of Barb's devotion to McNabb.

La vigueur et la passion avec lesquelles Mme Selkirk a servi la collectivité qu’elle aimait tant transparaissaient dans son sourire et son attitude positive. Elle traitait chacun avec respect et était
une source d’inspiration pour ceux qui l’entouraient.
Cette plaque rappellera aux employés et aux membres de la collectivité qui entrent dans le Centre le dévouement de Barbara Selkirk envers McNabb.
