The Dove Tower and Steps to the Bottom of a Pyramid by Israeli artist Ilan Averbach consists of of a 20' high by 9' diameter ten-sided up-side-down granite tower that leans vertically at about an angle of 10 degrees. Each of the five levels of the tower has a circle of up-side-down window. Next to the tower is a series of granite steps 27' square by 10' deep forming an inverted pyramid.
The installation was dedicated in 2004 and provides a meditative space and a contrast between the old world method of communication with carrier pigeons and the today's computer technology.
