St. Mary's faces Opal Avenue, just north of McClain Rogers Park. Near the intersection of Opal Avenue and S. 12th Street is a brick and stone wall and garden, with a statue of St. Mary.
Behind the statue a pipe frame supports two bells. The larger of the two is a No. 34,and the small is No. 22. We assume these bells once hung in the belfry of an earlier St. Mary's church.
