St. Mary's Catholic Church is located north of McClain Rogers Park and consists of several buildings. The main entrance faces south on Opal Avenue. The church is directly east of the Clinton Armory. The church has an educational wing, sanctuary, manse and an activities building which faces Knox Avenue to the north.

St. Mary's has the usual grouping of activities including children's and youth classes, choir, and participation in charities. Services are Saturday at 5:00PM and Sunday at 10:30 and 12:30 AM, with the 12:30 service in Spanish.

The church is a one-story brick building with metal gabled roofs, The sanctuary is separated from the educational building by an east-west wing which contains the main entrance. This entrance consists of double wood doors beneath a brick tower. Windows on the front are fixed with arched tops.
