NRP Nomination Form"The North Fort Worth High School (NFWHS) is a 3-story load-bearing masonry and concrete buUding facing south at 600 Park Street. The Prairie School influenced building follows an "H" plan with an auditorium nested in the south opening and a gymnasium in the north opening of the "H". The building has a brick exterior with cast stone and terra cotta trim, wood double hung paned windows and a flat roof. The cast stone and orange terra cotta trim express the strong horizontal and vertical massing lines characteristic of the Prairie School style. The balance of the elevations consist of blended red brick. The school building, retaining wadls (structure), stairs (structure), and fountain (structure) are Contributing elements on the site."
