"The old church consisted of a nave completed by a right chevet and two chapels, one of which was built around 1635. The other, older, belonged to the lords of Beaufort. destroyed in 1856.
The current church was built in 1861 on the plans of Hippolyte Béziers-Lafosse, architect at Saint-Servan; the entrepreneur Mr. Lévêque de Rennes carried out this project. The first project, submitted to the local council of civil buildings in 1854, was in neo-renaissance style, while the second and third projects are neo-Gothic. Work begun in 1856 was completed in 1861 (except the interior decoration).
The tympanum was sculpted by Charles Goupil between 1861 and 1868. The total cost of construction amounted to 70,460 francs at the time. In the 1870s, various works were carried out: layout of the church square, foothill repairs, reconstruction of the retaining walls around the building.
In 1930, the bell tower and the roof of the church are also restored. "

" L'ancienne église se composait d'une nef terminée par un chevet droit et de deux chapelles. L'une d'elles avait été construite vers 1635, l'autre, plus ancienne, appartenait aux seigneurs de Beaufort. Cet édifice a été détruit en 1856.
L'église actuelle est construite en 1861 sur les plans d'Hippolyte Béziers-Lafosse, architecte à Saint-Servan ; l'entrepreneur M. Lévêque de Rennes a réalisé ce chantier. Le premier projet, soumis au conseil local des bâtiments civils en 1854, était de style néo-renaissance, alors que les deuxième et troisième projets sont de style néo-gothique. Les travaux commencés en 1856 sont terminés en 1861 (sauf la décoration intérieure).
Le tympan a été sculpté par Charles Goupil entre 1861 et 1868. Le coût total de la construction s'est élevé à 70 460 francs de l'époque. Dans les années 1870, différents travaux ont lieu : aménagement de la place de l'église, réparation des contreforts, reconstruction des murs de soutènement autour de l'édifice.
En 1930, le clocher et la toiture de l'église sont également restaurés. "
