"Glocke aus der Kath. Pfarrkirche Hl. Dreifaltigkeit Weißenthurm:
Sie war die kleinste Glocke von drei, die am 29. Januar 1923 geweiht wurden.
Durchmesser 1,26 m und 853 kg schwer.
Gußstahl-Hersteller: Bochumer Verein für Gußstahlfabrikation (BVG).
Die Glocke war der Hl. Gottesmutter Maria geweiht.
Ihre Inschrift lautet:
ME RESONANTE PIA POPULO SUCURRE MARIA
BEI MEINEM KLANGE EILE ZU HILFE DEM VOLKE MARIA
Das Geläut wurde 1953 mit zwei zusätzlichen Gußstahlglocken komplettiert und bestand dann aus 5 Glocken.
Diese läuteten bis 1997. Da durch Eigenresonanzschwingungen Schäden im Glockenturm entstanden, entschied man sich 1997 für ein neues Geläut bestehend aus 8 Bronzeglocken.
An Weihnachten und Sylvester zur Jahrtausendwende 1999/2000 erklangen sie zum ersten Mal.
Die Glocke stand bis 2016 im Pfarrgarten und wurde im Rahmen eines Stadtfestes bei einer Versteigerung zu Gunsten des Orgelfördervereins von Josef Helf und Matthias Kircher ersteigert.

[EN] This bell is located on the old cemetery of Weißenthurm in the immediate vicinity of the chapel.
"Bell from the Catholic Parish Church of the Holy Trinity White Tower:
It was the smallest bell of three which were consecrated on 29 January 1923.
Diameter 1.26 m and weight 853 kg.
Cast steel manufacturer: Bochumer Verein für Gußstahlfabrikation (BVG).
The bell was consecrated to the Virgin Mary.
Its inscription reads:
ME RESONANTE PIA POPULO SUCURRE MARIA
BY MY SOUND HASTE TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF MARIA
The bell was completed in 1953 with two additional cast steel bells and then consisted of 5 bells.
These bells rang until 1997. Since damage was caused to the bell tower by resonant vibrations, a decision was made in 1997 for a new bell consisting of 8 bronze bells.
At Christmas and New Year's Eve at the turn of the millennium 1999/2000 they sounded for the first time.
The bell stood in the parish garden until 2016 and was auctioned off by Josef Helf and Matthias Kircher at an auction for the benefit of the Organ Promotion Association at a town festival.
