This Liberty Bell, free-standing on the grounds of the Liberty County Courthouse in Liberty, Texas, is a pretty good replica of the original Liberty Bell cast back in 1753 -- down to the wooden yoke -- save for the inscription. This particular copy is engraved with a much simpler text which reads:
"PHILADELPHIA
MDCCLIII
PROCLAIM
1776
LIBERTY"
Copies of this replica bell can be found at select locations throughout the town of Liberty, the county seat of Liberty County.
