PATRIOTISM
TO
THE GLORY OF GOD
IN PROUD AND GRATEFUL MEMORY
OF THE MEN OF HAYFIELD
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR KING
AND COUNTRY
THEIR BRIGHT SPIRIT STILL TENANTS THE
HEARTS OF THOSE WHO LOVED THEM
THEY PASSED OUT OF THE SIGHT OF MEN
BY THE PATH OF DUTY
AND SELF SACRIFICE
LET THOSE WHO COME AFTER
SEE TO IT THAT THEIR NAMES
ARE NOT FORGOTTEN
