"Reopened in 2011 as a genuine free house, the 'GB' is ideally situated between the town centre and university. The traditional bar has a dartboard and features old local photographs; the lounge has a pool table and jukebox. Satellite sport is shown throughout. A limited food menu is available but customers are welcome to bring their own food. Enclosed beer garden to the rear and families are welcome until 7.45pm. Local CAMRA Town Pub 2011, 2013 and Pub of the Year 2012."
