Church organ of the Christuskirche Wandsbek from 1967
From 1966 to 1967, the Walker & Cie workshop built the large organ, which still has the complete prospectus, but the complete organ movement was replaced in 2007 during a complete renovation of the organs. This renovation was carried out by the Hamburg organ building company Hans-Ulrich Erbslöh, who not only exchanged the old playing mechanisms, but also coupled the formerly separate main and choir organs with a common control panel with three manuals and a pedal. This allows for a special variety of sounds.
Opening hours of the church for the general public:
Saturday: 12:00-14:00
Monday: 17:00-19:00
Wednesday: 17:00-19:00
