"The Chapel houses a 19th century organ, the Martin James monument and a fine oak chest with an inscription of "1664 H" carved inside. The "H" is the mark of a Michael Shilling, who was churchwarden at the time."

The inscription on the monument reads -
Hic situs est Martinus James Armiger quam plurimis olim animi corporisque dotibus orantus.
Cancellariae Angliae Prothonotarius. Pacis inter Cantianos administrator. Aequi bonique
cultor. Coniugem habuit Thomasinam Johannis Coppingeri Armigeri filiam, ex qua duos
filios totidemo filias suscepit, & post vitae cursu magna cum probitatis & prudentae laude
peractu fideliter in dno requievit ultimo Febr:ano a verbo incarnato 1692 Cuivit patri
optimo & bene merenti Henric filius & haeres memoriae & pietatis ergo monument u hoc posuit.
