Die Pfarrkirche St. Florinus wurde am 10. Juli 1916 vom damaligen Weihbischof von Trier Antonuis Mönch eingeweiht.
Nachdem die alte Pfarrkirche in der Kirchgasse zu klein geworden war, entschloss sich die Kirchengemeinde Bell eine größere Kirche zu bauen. Nach nur zweijähriger Bauzeit feierte man am 09. November 1915 den Einzug in die neue Kirche.

Sie ist eine dreischiffige, dreijochige Stufenhallenkirche mit einem in das Langhaus eingestellten Turm und einem eingezogenen Chor. Der Chor wird von zwei nahezu quadratischen Anbauten flankiert, die durch einen um die Apsis geführten Gang verbunden sind. Das Hauptschiff besteht aus drei quadratischen Jochen, denen um die Hälfte schmälere Seitenjoche entsprechen.

Die Planung oblag dem Architekten Ludgerus Rincklake OSB. Zahlreiche Bauelemente wie Spitzbogen, Maßwerk, Birnstabprofil der Gewölberippen im Chor sowie die Bauplastik der Kapitelle sind dem gotischen Formenrepertoire entlehnt.

Im Gegensatz dazu erinnern die mächtigen Arkadenpfeiler mit ihren halbrunden Vorlagen im Innern der Kirche an die Arkadenpfeiler im Langhaus der Abtei Maria Laach und sind somit in die Spätromanik einzuordnen.

Im 2. Weltkrieg am 02. März 1945 wurde die Kirche bei einem Bombenangriff schwer getroffen. Der Turm war bis auf die Fundamente zerstört. Chor, Dach und Orgel wurden schwer beschädigt. Die Mosaiken und das Chor-Kreuz haben wie ein Wunder den Bombenangriff unbeschadet überstanden.
Von der Kommunionbank aus Marmor standen nur noch die Pfeiler. Unter großen Opfern machte sich die Bevölkerung an den Wiederaufbau. Am 26. Mai 1949 konnte die Gemeinde wieder Gottesdienste im Gotteshaus feiern. Der Turm wurde erst 1963 - allerdings nicht in seiner ursprünglichen Höhe - wieder aufgebaut. Zwischen 1985 und 1993 fanden umfangreiche Renovierungsarbeiten statt. Die Innenrenovierung wurde am 09. Oktober 1988 zum 160. Jubiläum der Pfarrei mit der Altarkonsekration beendet. Zur 900-Jahr-Feier der Gemeinde Bell im Jahre 1993 waren alle Renovierungsarbeiten abgeschlossen und die Pfarrkirche erstrahlt seitdem als Schmuckstück des Ortes.

Im Jahr 2016 wurde das 100. Kirchweihfest mit einer Festwoche vom 08. bis 16. Juli mit Pfarrfest, einer Ausstellung zur Historie der Beller Pfarrkirche und er abschließenden Kirmes gefeiert."

The parish church of St. Florinus was consecrated on 10 July 1916 by the then auxiliary bishop of Trier Antonuis Mönch.
After the old parish church in Kirchgasse had become too small, the parish of Bell decided to build a larger church. After only two years of construction, the move into the new church was celebrated on 09 November 1915.

It is a three-nave, three-bay stepped hall church with a tower set in the nave and a choir. The choir is flanked by two almost square extensions which are connected by a corridor around the apse. The main nave consists of three square yokes, half of which correspond to narrower side yokes.

The planning was the responsibility of the architect Ludgerus Rincklake OSB. Numerous building elements such as pointed arches, tracery, pear-rod profile of the ribs of the vault in the choir and the architectural sculpture of the capitals are borrowed from the Gothic repertoire of forms.

In contrast, the mighty arcade pillars with their semicircular patterns in the interior of the church are reminiscent of the arcade pillars in the nave of Maria Laach Abbey and can therefore be classified as late Romanesque.

In the 2nd World War on 2nd March 1945 the church was hit hard by a bombing raid. The tower was destroyed except for the foundations. Choir, roof and organ were badly damaged. The mosaics and the choir cross miraculously survived the bombing raid unscathed.
Only the pillars of the marble communion bench remained. The population made great sacrifices to start the reconstruction. On 26 May 1949 the congregation was able to celebrate services in the church again. The tower was only rebuilt in 1963, but not at its original height. Between 1985 and 1993 extensive renovation work took place. The interior renovation was completed on 09 October 1988 on the 160th anniversary of the parish with the consecration of the altar. On the occasion of the 900th anniversary of the parish of Bell in 1993, all renovation work was completed and the parish church has since shone as a jewel in the town's crown.

In 2016, the 100th anniversary of the parish fair was celebrated with a festive week from 8 to 16 July, including a parish festival, an exhibition on the history of the Beller parish church and the concluding parish fair."
