The Lewis-Card Cemetery dates to the early 18th century. Officially listed as Rhode Island Historical Cemetery Richmond #37, the state maintains the general area. However, the stones and the graveyard itself, are left to nature. Access is very easy from I-95 and RI 138 in the town of Richmond. The cemetery is adjacent to the carpool parking lot. If not for the signpost, one could easily miss it.

The cemetery contains the remains of members of the Lewis family, with markers dating from 1717. The Card family markers date from 1820.
