Located in a little park, just off Main Street, this visitor's center offers information on the local sites. Milford is a railroad town and at one time was an important stop between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. Times have changed and the Interstate is twenty miles away. These days most traffic consists of those coming to the area to explore the surrounding mountains. As there are no winter sports in the area the caboose in only staffed during the Summer.
