Long Description:Leopold, standing at Higgins Point with a camera aimed at the lake, overlooks the Idaho Centennial Trail. His location is beautiful and visitors are numerous. Year round you can walk or ride and visit Leopold, he welcomes all his friends with a stern stare. Starting in December, visitors become more numerous, but these visitors are not coming to visit Leopold. They come to watch and photograph the bald eagles that flock to Lake Coeur d’Alene’s Wolf Lodge Bay where they feast on the lake’s spawned kokanee salmon.
