This memorial is displayed prominently on the south lawn of the Elks lodge 2597 well above U.S. Hwy 160 that passes behind it. There are five flag poles each of which displays a different military flag. There is a flag pole one on east and west end of the memorial and one is placed between each of the four stones.

There are four wedge shaped grey granite stones each with a beautifully polished black granite stone attached to them.
Each of the polished black granite stones has some text and a military branch seal. From left to right The first stone displays the name LAKE TANEYCOMO and a United States Army emblem, the second stone displays the name ELKS LODGE and a United States Navy emblem, stone three displays the post number 2597 SALUTES and a United States Marine Corps emblem, the fourth stone displays the words OUR VETERANS and a United States Coast Guard and United States Air Force emblem.
