Barriere Memorial Cemetery is located in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District It was established in the early 1960's, with the first known interment of William Alan Marston who passed away June 24, 1964.
The Barriere Memorial Cemetery is maintained by the town of Barriere and is approximately an acre in size. All the headstones are flush to the ground. There are approximately 346 interments. Though the gate was locked, we were able to enter though a gate next to the entrance.

Barriere is in the Central North Thompson Valley in beautiful British Columbia. Barriere is at the confluence of the Barriere River and North Thompson River making this an ideal recreational location. It has approximately 1800 residents.
