This small stone can be found on the edge of the B827 road at Dalginross, the name given to the general area south of the River Earn in the small Perthshire town of Comrie.
The B827 leaves Comrie to the south and crosses mostly desolate moorland to reach the A822 at the estate of Ardoch, just north of the village of Braco, hence the name Braco Road.
The road once had a number of similar milestones, but few survived and this one has been well preserved and given new lettering, both the destinations at either end of the road.
