Apposé sur un mur à l'intérieur de l'hôtel du monastère, ce bas-relief commémore l’arrivée des trois premières Augustines en Nouvelle-France, le 1er août 1639. L’année 1989 marquait le 350e anniversaire de cet événement. (Le monastère est maintenant un hôtel) Il n'y a pas de frais pour accéder à l'hotel.

Monastery of the Augustines-de-l'Hôtel-Dieu-de-Québec

Affixed to a wall inside the monastery, this bas-relief commemorates the arrival of the first three Augustinians in New France, August 1, 1639. The year 1989 marked the 350th anniversary of this event. (The monastery is now a hotel). There is no fee to access the hotel.)
