Quant à Jonction, œuvre lauréate du Concours 2016 d’art public de Sainte-Pétronille, elle s’inscrit davantage dans une narration faite de symboles que dans la charge émotive, bien qu’elle n’en soit pas totalement dépourvue en raison notamment des ces longues poutres verticales effilées qui pointent vers le ciel. L’artiste dit de sa sculpture qu’il s’agit «d’un rappel iconographique du passé du quai de Ste-Pétronille». Y sont représentés trois piliers de quai, traversés de part en part par un cordage de bateau, et une toile flottant au vent qui rappelle les voiliers qui s’y sont amarrés au fil des années. À la base de la sculpture, les pavés, qui se transforment en vagues, représentent un chemin de terre qui devenait, grâce au quai, un chemin d’eau vers Québec. Une œuvre forte et d’une pertinence évi- dente en bordure du chemin du Bout-de-l’Île.

The artist says of his sculpture that it is "an iconographic reminder of the past of the wharf at Ste-Pétronille". There are three wharf pillars, crossed by a boat rope, and a canvas floating in the wind that reminds sailboats that have moored over the years.
