James M. Fox is buried near an old railroad bed on the west side of TX 6, between Albany and Moran in rural Shackelford County, TX.

While it's hard to say that the site has been abandoned, as it isn't completely overgrown, it may not receive as much maintenance as it might, although it's possible that lawnmowers have been a problem. Be on the lookout for critters hiding in the grass as you approach the site.
According to Mr. Fox's Findagrave page, he was an inmate in the Texas prison system, working on the railroad, when he took ill and died at a young age. Why he was buried here and not in a local cemetery is unknown. There are some rocks that form an outline of the grave, and while Mr. Fox's marble headstone was placed into a concrete holder after it fell over, it has since been broken, either by vandals or a lawnmower. It has a set of clasped hands at the top, and reads:
