Chiang Mai University is one of the leading universities in northern Thailand. At the centre of the Suan Sak Campus (main campus), at the intersection of two main roads is this tower clock. There are four faces, each showing the correct time, facing along each road. Maye 20 metres tall. I discovered that the clock was gifted to the city by the artist Chalermachai Khositpipat and opened by the king of Thailand.
Entry to the campus is unrestricted.
