Fort St. John is the largest city in Northeastern B.C. and situated along the world-famous Alaska Highway Mile 49. It currently has approximately 21,000 residents. Fort St. John is the oldest non-native settlement in British Columbia, as well as being one of the oldest native settlements.

"The Pomeroy Sports Centre features 2 NHL sized ice rinks, 12 dressing rooms, a public meeting room, skate sharpening vendor, a concession stand, Booster Juice outlet, meeting room, and a Olympic-sized long track speed skating oval. Additionally the centre has 60,000 square feet of usable space when the ice isn’t being used.

On the 3rd floor is the Northern Vac Track which is a 340 meter walking track. The track is free to use for the public and it features lockers alongside the track for patrons to use free of charge."
