The Each One, Teach One San Antonio organization (EOTOSA) is a non-profit focused upon helping all ages of people learn to read and/or do math better. Its target audience are those who have difficulty reading or doing math above the 3rd grade level. Adult illiteracy in San Antonio is such that the EOTOSA has two community centers within San Antonio. One is at the converted fire station that is now used as a training center and its headquarters at 815 El Monte Blvd. near Blanco Rd. and the second community center is at 4551 Dietrich Rd. near Cornerway Blvd which is close to the Loop 410 and I-10 interchange on the southeast side of San Antonio. Both locations work to improve adult literacy, but only the 815 El Monte Blvd. location has a Little Free Library.
From the EOTOSA link on the Little Free Library Organization webpage, the promotion statement reads as follows:
"Our little free library is part of the Each One Teach One Community Literacy Center. It is a very popular library and we welcome donations of titles, particularly children's titles. Anyone is welcome to take a book, keep it if they wish, or return it. The library is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. If you stop by our library, feel free to stop in our literacy center and learn more about our work in adult literacy. Consider becoming a volunteer tutor!"
