Wembley is in the “Heart of the Action” when it comes to the wheat and oat production in the area. Wembley is in the County of Grande Prairie in Northern Alberta. It has approximately 1,520 residents in this small community.

"Wembley is a strong farming community made famous by Herman Trelle who was four times "Wheat King of the World". In honour of Mr.Trelle, the Town adopted a wheat theme in its logo." Source: Wembley

Wembley is a quiet, peaceful northern Alberta town surrounded by vast fields of farmland and grazing cattle. Wembley is home to the world renowned Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum dedicated to preserving Alberta’s palaeontological heritage. This ultra modern museum was opened in 2015 and is in sharp contrast to this farming community.

The Wembley municipal flag is accompanied by the Canadian and Alberta flags. These flags fly high in honor of Wembley's war veterans near the war memorial.
