A scary scene unfolded at the Best Western near Memorial and Western. The manager was stabbed by an employee, who has not yet been apprehended.

Police are searching for a woman accused of stabbing and seriously injuring her boss Tuesday morning at a hotel in northwest Oklahoma City.

According to police, the woman stabbed her manager at the Best Western near Memorial Road and Western Avenue and fled the scene after the two got into an altercation.

"Definitely surprised. I've never been that close to a crime scene," a witness told KOCO 5. "I opened up my curtains to see if it was raining, and I saw a police car. And next time I looked, there was another police car. I looked to the side, and there was another police car. Looked like something had really happened."

When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been stabbed in the leg. Police learned she was the manager and had been involved in a confrontation with an employee.

Police told KOCO 5 that they know who the suspect is but she has not been caught. The victim was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
