Nowadays there are no active borders in most of Europe but it was not always like this. Just a couple of decades ago borders were closely surveilled and all along the Portuguese border - both land and sea - there were endless border police outposts.
This set of buildings was probably one of them. Established in Culatra island, off Olhão, one can find here a main building, surrounded by several others and a well. Everything is abandoned and can be freely explored.
