This grand post office takes up almost an entire city block. It was constructed in 1931 under the Treasury Department’s supervising architect James A. Wetmore.

The Main Post Office Building is one of the most significant Beaux Arts/Classical Revival buildings in Fort Worth. Designed with three floors and a basement. It is listed on the National Register of Historical Places.
