Pouce Coupe is in the South Peace Country Region of beautiful British Columbia. It has approximately 790 residents in this small rural community. Pronounced: Pouce Coupee that translate to "thumb cut", named after a Beaver Indian called “Pooscapee.”
If you have the opportunity to visit this very interesting community, it has has one of the best museums we have visited. It is in the old train depot and next to the post office. As you proceed up the hill to enter Pounce Coupe there are several large sculptures made from scrap metal.
