This small park hosts a memorial to Kazimierz Pulaski, who is called "the Father of American Calvary." He died in defense of the U.S.A. in the Battle of Savannah, Georgia. New DNA evidence explores he may have been intersex!

Pulaski Park near the Cherry Creek Shopping area features a memorial to Kazimierz Pulaski, as well as other prominent Poles. The memorial was part of our nation's Bicentennial celebration and was dedicated July 4, 1976. Parking in the area is challenging; the parking lot is at N39° 42.761, W104° 56.788 and the street can only be entered from the north.

The monument reads:
