ENG: The Luna spring drilled in the 1960s is the deepest mineral spring in the Czech Republic and is brought to the surface in Louny in three places, this is one of them. Its source lies at a depth of 1100 - 1200 meters underground. It gives fifteen liters of water per minute. The water is taken from a granite bedrock and has a thickness of only forty meters. It was therefore a bit of a coincidence that during a gelogical survey around Louny, it was found. Thanks to its constant temperature, the spring is available all year round.
Luna mineral water is a sodium-bicarbonate type, strongly mineralized, containing 17.5 g of dissolved salts per liter. 4489 mg of these are sodium cations and 710 mg of chloride anions. The mineral water is hypertonic, the osmotic pressure is 426 mOsm / kg. Dissolved CO2 content of 1450 mg / l is classified as carbonic mineral water.
Luna mineral water is suitable for drinking cures in patients with gastrointestinal diseases. It is not suitable for cardiac patients, hypertonic patients, children, adolescents and pregnant women. The use of Luna mineral water is advised to consult a physician.
