The history of the building began in 1939, when the missionaries of the Sacred Heart took possession of the lands abandoned by a farmer to erect a building. These transferred the titles of the property around 1953 to the Brothers of the Christian Instruction. The latter lived here for several years until the end of the 1960s.

On Christmas Day 1959 a fire caused by a smoker's article would have caused the death of 3 people. Then in January 1988 a second fire caused the death of 9 other people. This time again the cause of the fire would be a smoker's article. Moreover the fire would have started in the bed of a paraplegic. He would have burned alive.

The most disturbing paranormal stories have thus given the solid reputation of a "mythical and haunted" place, as evidenced by several shootings of films and documentaries on the history of the places as well as paranormal phenomena that would have succeeded one another. time. Let us not forget that death struck twelve times.
