The sign depicts a Horse and what appears to be a dray cart and dray man carrying a barrel on his shoulder. In the background is an image of an inn, sign hanging over the door.

"Waggon" an old English name for a horse drawn cart, which has become less and less common over the last 300 years, to the preferred "Wagon". Waggon is a variation on the word "Wagon"
