FR:A la suite de la seconde guerre mondiale, les Hottonnais ont du reconstruire leur pont, leur église, … . Le choix s'est tourné vers un édifice d'allure plutôt moderne et sobre en moëllons de calcaire équarris auquel se rattache la cure par un passage couvert.
EN:Following the destruction of the Second World War, the people of Hotton had to rebuild their bridge, their church and other buildings. The choice was made to build a rather modern, sober church with squared limestone rubble walls.
Bischoff Pierre Leclercq consecrated the church Eglise Notre-Dame Consolatrice on 17.5.1952 as part of a service.
